Our performance courses range from elective to production courses. Our Theatre Arts I-IV courses are offered as an elective to any current student at McNeil High School. Our production courses are our advanced performance classes that are audition based and help train in many aspects of professional theatre.
Production I
Students must have a recommendation from their middle school director in order to participate in this advanced performance-based class where they study dance, singing, and acting techniques. Students show what they've learned through showcases and are required to audition to be placed in the advanced Musical Theatre class.
Production II
Students must audition for this performance-based class where they study dance, singing, and acting techniques. Students show what they've learned through showcases and are required to audition to be placed in the advanced Musical Theatre class.
Production III/IV
Students must audition for this advanced performance-based class where they study dance, singing, and acting techniques. Students show what they've learned through showcases and are required to audition to be placed in the advanced Musical Theatre class.
Theatre I
This course is a fine arts elective.
